We have seen a sector rotation favouring more defensive sectors, which is typical during a market correction. Recent flows have signalled that investors are looking for places to hide. Nevertheless, sector leadership has yet to establish itself as we head into 2019. We maintain our Sector Picks from last month but have reassessed them in light of the volatile state of investor sentiment and the need for greater earnings security in a more challenging environment.
