Hans Rosling and ‘Scary Statistics’ made it into our Top Five!

#19 – Top Five Best Read Research on OpinioPro

What research was read the most on OpinioPro this past week? Hereby a top five overview:

On the fifth place: the CIO View by DWS: “Corona and Talf 2.0 – New Opportunities Ahead“. In this CIO View of 23 April, Thomas Sweeney (CO-Head US Structured Finance) talks about the Fed expanding the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility (TALF):

It now includes existing AAA-rated commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and new-issue static collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), in addition to the existing new-issue asset-backed securities (ABS) that were included in the original program launched in late March.

John Hancock Investment Management published a series on how “human behavior can affect investment decsision” and in their fifth and final publication they examined the performance review session, which made it to the third place:

The annual investment performance review session is one of the most critical interactions for both the team and the client. For the team, it provides the ideal opportunity to review results objectively and make systematic improvements to both process and skills; for the client portion, it’s an ideal forum to both educate and deepen the relationship.

Some Suspicions About the Coming Years” by James Anderson – Baillie Gifford made it to second place. The paper discusses several topics: ‘Hans Rosling on Scary Statistis and Rationality’, ‘Monetary and Fiscal Transformation’ and a whole chapter on ‘What does this mean for us?’, with for example a sub-chapter on ‘What Investments are now More Valueable?’. All in all, a very interesting read (and the chance is high you’ll like the beautiful photography used in it as well).

First place is for Qontigo – Stoxx with their publication “Introducing Stoxx Factor and ESG-X Factor Indices: Get more from your Premia Exposures“, discussing their new series of factor-based indices.
